Our place is at Vadgoensheri Survey No 54/55 44. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address when people ask where we are. We are the School Of Mathematics Statistics and we have been at this location for some time now. The area is a mix of different types of buildings and we fit right in with the local scene. Inside it’s mostly whiteboards and calculators laying around on the tables. It gets pretty quiet here because everyone is usually busy working through problems or looking at data. We don't have any big signs or bright lights to attract attention. The floor is made of tile and it’s a bit cold in the winter months so we usually wear sweaters while we work. There is a small parking area out front but it fills up fast. Sometimes we have to park further down the street and walk back. We handle a lot of numbers every day and it can be tiring but it's what we do. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee and sometimes someone brings in biscuits to share. It’s a very practical environment without any extra frills. We like that it’s straightforward and we can just get on with the math without any distractions from the outside world. The address might seem confusing to find at first, but once you see the building at Survey No 54/55 44, it makes sense.
