Savni Beauty Parlour

Savni Beauty Parlour is in the Parvati area of Pune, specifically near the Gajanan Mandir in Laxmi Nagar. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s a bit quieter than the city center. We get a lot of local women who stop by while they are out doing their errands. Being near the temple means there are always people walking past. Our shop is a small, cozy space. We have a couple of chairs and a big mirror that’s been there since we started. We do the basic things like eyebrows, facials, and hair. It’s not a luxury salon. It’s just a place where neighbors come to get cleaned up a bit. We know most of our customers by name. We hear all the local news and gossip while we work. The fan overhead keeps things moving, and we usually have a small radio playing in the background. We don't have a receptionist. If the phone rings, one of us just picks it up while we are working. In the evenings, the area around Gajanan Mandir gets quite lively. We usually stay open until the last customer is done. We keep our supplies in plastic bins under the counters. It’s a practical setup. We don't make any big promises, we just do our job for the people in Laxmi Nagar. It’s a nice place to work and be a part of the community.
