Deepak Narayan Deore has a spot at House Number 101 in Wajgaon, and that is where we operate from. It is right in the Deola area. We are just a group of farmers who thought we should work together instead of everyone doing their own thing. It's much simpler that way when you're trying to buy supplies or sell what you've grown. The office isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we keep our books and meet up. Most of us have dirt under our fingernails most of the time. We talk a lot about the water levels and which crops are looking good this season. Sometimes the meetings go long because everyone has an opinion, but we usually figure it out. We don't use any fancy business talk here. We just say things as they are. If the crop is bad, we say it's bad. If the price is low, we deal with it together. It’s a local effort, through and through. We know everyone in Wajgaon and the surrounding fields. Being part of this company means we don't have to worry quite as much about being taken advantage of by middle men. We just want to get a fair price for the hard work we put in. It’s honest work and we do it together at our own pace. There's always someone around to help unload a truck or sort through the paperwork when things get busy.
