If you head down the Dehu-Alandi Road to Chikhali, you’ll find us at Shelarwasti, specifically at Plot No. 6 and 7. It’s a bit of a trek out here, but we have plenty of space for our machines. We put together systems for flexible packaging, so the building is full of long assembly lines and rolls of plastic and foil. It’s a big, open space that echoes quite a bit when the motors are running. We have a mix of young technicians and some older guys who have been fixing these types of machines for decades. Things can get pretty hectic when we are trying to test a new system and something keeps jamming. You’ll see us huddled around a control panel or poking at a conveyor belt with a screwdriver. The road outside can get quite dusty with all the construction going on in the area, but inside we try to keep things as orderly as possible. We don't have a big corporate culture here; we mostly just talk about the work and what needs to be done before the weekend. There is a small office upstairs where we handle the orders and talk to suppliers on the phone, but the real heart of the place is the assembly floor. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, but seeing a finished machine finally pack its first bag correctly is a good feeling for everyone.
