Satkar Hair Dress Salon

Our shop is located in Sardha Apartment over in the Parvati area which is part of Sahkar Nagar. It is a nice enough spot and we have been here long enough that we feel like part of the building itself. Sahkar Nagar is a busy place but our little corner near Parvati stays relatively steady. We spend most of our time behind the chairs with scissors in hand. It is funny how much you learn about the neighborhood just by listening to people while you cut their hair. We have seen kids grow up and start bringing their own children here which makes us feel a bit old but it is also good to see. The apartment building is easy to find if you are looking for it. Inside the shop we just have the basic setups because we don't see the point in having a lot of extra stuff that just gets in the way. The lighting is good and we try to keep the place tidy even when we are busy. It gets quite warm in the summers so we keep the door open to catch a breeze when there is one. People from all over the Sahkar Nagar area drop by and we just take them as they come. It is a honest way to make a living and we enjoy the daily routine of the salon and seeing the same faces every week or two.
