You can find Sargam Novelties at Shop No 2 in Anant Apartments. We are right there at Plot No 1009 near Deep Bungalow Chowk. Shivaji Nagar is a busy place, so there is always noise from the street. We’ve had the shop here for a while. We sell things like plastic items, cosmetics, and some small toys. It's a bit of a mix. People usually drop in while they are out doing their grocery shopping. We try to keep the shop clean, but with the door open to the street, it's hard. There's a lot of traffic around Deep Bungalow Chowk. I usually sit in the chair near the fan during the hot afternoons. My nephew comes by to help on the weekends when it gets more crowded. We have a lot of regular ladies who come to check out the new bangles or hair accessories. We aren't doing anything fancy here. We just sell stuff that people use every day. Sometimes the stock takes a long time to arrive from the distributors. We have to be patient. I enjoy talking to the customers, hearing about their families. It makes the day go by faster. We keep a ledger for everything, nothing high-tech. If you need something small for the house, we probably have it tucked away somewhere on a shelf. It’s a small family business and we just take it one day at a time. The street lights outside flicker sometimes, but we keep the shop open anyway.
