We are situated at number 4 in the Shanti Niketan Building. This is in the Ex Servicemen Colony in Dhayari. It’s a nice, settled kind of neighborhood. Being in the Ex Servicemen Colony means we see a lot of the same families all the time. Our shop has a bit of everything, which is why we call it Saraneshwar Varieties. We have gifts and all sorts of small articles that people might need for their homes. Shanti Niketan is a decent building, and we've been on the ground floor for a good while. Dhayari is a bit away from the main city rush, which we actually like. It’s a bit more relaxed here. I spend a lot of time arranging the shelves because we get new things in quite often. It’s a small space, so you have to be clever about where you put the bigger gift items. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with the road nearby, but we try to keep things wiped down. People stop by on their way home from work to pick up something quick. We don't have any big marketing or anything, just our sign outside. It’s a quiet life, but we enjoy being part of the colony. The neighbors are good people and we all look out for each other. It’s just a regular local variety store where you can find a bit of everything you need for the day. It’s a steady place to work and live in Pune.
