My place is over at Sasheha Sundervan Society, specifically B-213. It’s right on Singhagad Road in the Manik Bagh area. I’ve lived and worked from here for a while now. Santosh Baikar is just my name, and I do my business right out of this spot. It’s not like a big shop in a mall. It’s a regular building where people live, so it’s a bit quieter than being in the main market. I like it that way. I have my desk set up near the window so I can see what’s happening on the street. Sometimes it gets a bit busy with the traffic on Singhagad Road, but inside the society, it’s mostly just kids playing or neighbors talking. I don’t have any employees or anything. I handle everything myself, from the first call to the final bit of work. People usually find me through word of mouth. I don’t see the point in big advertisements when you can just do a decent job and have people tell their friends. The room I work in is full of my tools and papers. It’s a bit messy, but I know where everything is. My wife usually brings me some tea in the afternoon, and that’s when I take a break. It’s a quiet life, just doing my work and living in a nice society with good people around me. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else because this feels like home and work all together.
