Chintan Publication

Chintan Publication is based at Plot No.4/8 on Paud Road. We are in the Kothrud area of Pune, not too far from Anand Nagar. Paud Road is a very busy stretch, so there is always the sound of horns and engines in the background. Our building is a bit older, but it stays cool inside even when it is sunny out. We have several rooms filled with papers and printed materials. It is a bit of a maze sometimes. We spend a lot of time checking proofs and moving stacks of paper from one side of the room to the other. The staff here has been together for a while, so we all know the routine. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. When people visit, they usually just walk straight into the workspace. It's a very practical environment. We have a small area where we keep the finished books before they go out. Pune is a city of learners, and being in Kothrud puts us right in the middle of everything. We aren't trying to be the biggest publisher out there. We just want to do our work well and get things out on time. Sometimes we stay late when a big job is finishing up. We usually have a pot of tea or coffee going in the corner. It's just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do their best with what we have. We like the quiet rhythm of the work.
