We started Sant Siyaram Baba Krushi Vikas Farmer Producer Company Limited because we wanted to get organized here in Nagalwadi Khurd. Most of us are around Magalwadi, and we set up our main point at C/O Shri Ramlal Balaji, Magalwadi,Nagalwadi Khurd. It’s just a group of local people trying to handle our farming business better together. Farming is hard work, and doing it alone doesn't always work out well for the small guy. We spend a lot of time talking about seeds and what the weather is doing to our crops. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a simple setup where we meet and figure things out. Being in a small place like Nagalwadi Khurd means everyone knows each other anyway. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. We just want to make sure the work we do in the fields actually pays off. There are a lot of challenges with getting supplies and selling what we grow. Having this company helps us talk to others as a group instead of just one person. It’s been a learning process for all of us here. We don't have some big marketing team. It is just us, the farmers, looking out for our land and our families. Sometimes the meetings go long and we get off track, but that is how things go when you work with your neighbors. We are just keeping at it every day and hoping for the best for our community members. It is a slow road but we like it.
