Our place is over in the Kotued area, which most people know as Kothrud here in Poona. It is a busy part of the city but we tucked ourselves into N. M. Kharche and have been working from here for quite some time. The office is full of the usual electronics and boxes that you would expect from a place like ours. We don't have any big flashy signs or a lobby with a fountain. It is just a workspace where we get things done. The street outside can get pretty jammed during peak hours, so we usually hear the horns and the buses going by while we work. Poona has changed a lot, but this little corner feels pretty much the same as it always has. We have a small team and everyone just knows their job. There is no corporate manual telling us how to talk to people; we just talk like normal folks. Sometimes the rainy season makes the walls a bit damp, but we just deal with it. We spend a lot of time testing equipment and making sure things are put together right. If someone walks in, they might have to wait a second while we finish up what we are holding. It is a real place with real people who just happen to work with Sansui products. We don't put on an act for anyone. It is just our daily routine and we are used to it.
