Sansa Auto Engineering

We’ve been here in Chinchwad East for a long time now. The shop at MIDC 56/5 is where we spend most of our days. It gets pretty loud with the machines running, but that's just how it is in this area. Sansa Auto Engineering isn't a huge place, just a regular engineering workshop. We handle a lot of different parts that come through. Sometimes it's busy, sometimes it's a bit slower, but we keep things moving. The floors aren't always spotless because we are actually working with metal and oil here. My father started this years ago and I took over later on. We just try to get the jobs done right so the next person in the chain can do their part. It's a lot of measuring and double-checking things. You learn to live with the smell of grease and cutting fluid after a while. Most of our neighbors in the MIDC are doing similar industrial work, so we all know each other well. If a machine breaks down, we just fix it and carry on. It's not fancy work, but it's what we know how to do. We open up early and usually stay until the sun goes down. There’s always some new part to figure out or a technical drawing to look over at the bench. That's basically our life here every day. There isn't much more to it than that. We just do the work.
