Mech-X

Mech-X is based out of Flat-12 in Building No. 4 over in Purnanagar. It is a relatively quiet spot in the Chinchwad area. We are not located in a big industrial park or a tall office tower. Instead, we just use this flat because it fits our needs and keeps our costs down. It can get a little bit crowded when we have a lot of parts or paperwork piling up, but we make it work. Most days it is just a couple of us sitting at our desks or tinkering with things. The neighbors in Purnanagar are mostly families, so we make sure to keep our noise levels down. We have been in this building for a few years now. You have to find the fourth building in the complex to get to us. We don't have a big sign hanging outside. Most people who come to see us already know the way. We handle all the technical details and the back-office stuff right here. It’s a very practical way to run a business without needing a lot of extra space we wouldn’t use anyway. Chinchwad is a good location for us because it is easy to get to most places from here. Sometimes the elevator in the building doesn't work, so we end up taking the stairs quite a bit. It’s a bit of an older building, but it has character. We don't have any massive plans to move or get bigger. We just like doing our work from our little corner.
