Sanjay Salon

Sanjay Salon is located right in the middle of all the noise in Camp, inside Arora Tower on M G Road. We are up on the third floor, at Shop No 319. It’s a bit of a trek up there if the elevator is acting up, but many people still make the trip. I have been running this salon for a long time and I’ve seen M G Road change so much over the decades. This place is a traditional men's salon. We don't have fancy lights or those expensive coffee machines you see in the malls. We just have good mirrors, sharp scissors, and chairs that have seen a lot of history. Most of my customers are men who have been coming to me since they were kids, and now they bring their own sons. We do haircuts, shaves, and the occasional head massage which is quite popular after a long day of work. It’s a place where men can just sit down, talk about the local news or cricket, and get a decent trim. We don't really go for those modern, flashy styles unless someone really asks for it. Usually, it's just a standard cut. The shop is small and it smells like talcum powder and aftershave, which is exactly how a real barber shop should be. We just keep doing our work quietly and stay open for whoever walks through the door.
