We are tucked away in Kothrud, right at No. 3/13 in Chandralok Nagari. If you know Dahanukar Colony, you’ll find us easily enough. Unnati Hi Tec Agro Projects has been running out of this spot for a while. It’s more of an office setup than a farm, since we spend a lot of our time planning out various agro projects. The space is often filled with maps, project files, and notebooks. We have a small team here in Pune and we usually spend our mornings talking to clients or checking in on how different sites are progressing. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. We deal with the technical side of farming, trying to figure out how to make things grow better using different setups. We aren't really the type to use big words; we just like to see if a plan actually works on the ground. The tea stall nearby is where we end up most afternoons to discuss the day's tasks. It’s a neighborhood where everyone kind of knows each other, so it’s a nice place to work. Sometimes the phones don’t stop ringing, and other times it’s quiet enough to actually get some paperwork done. We just keep our heads down and try to get the project details right for whoever walks through the door.
