We are located right on the Mumbai-Pune Road in Dapodi. This area has changed a lot since we first set up here, but the feel of the place is still very much about the industry. The building we are in handles the marketing and support for Coromant, and it’s a place where you see a lot of people talking about cutting tools and metalwork. Outside, the road is always packed with trucks and cars moving between the two big cities. It’s a bit of an old-school vibe in some parts of the office, with thick walls and a steady pace. We don't try to be flashy. Most of our time is spent looking at catalogs, talking to people about their machine shops, and figuring out shipping schedules. The canteen is usually where the real news happens over a plate of poha. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We’ve seen the neighborhood grow up around us, with new flyovers and shops, but inside the gates, it’s still about the same core work. We have people who have worked here for decades, and they have a lot of stories about how things used to be. It is a solid place to work, with no drama and a lot of focus on the daily tasks. We just keep our heads down and make sure everything is running the way it should be on the Mumbai-Pune stretch. It’s our daily routine and we like it.
