Sanaswadi Agro Farmers Producer Companylimited is run out of House Number 1348. We are located right at the post in Sanaswadi, which is in the Shirur area of Pune. A lot of us who started this are just locals from around here who grew up on these farms. We handle the business side of things for the people in our village. Pune 412208 is home for us. We don't have any polished marketing or anything like that. We mostly have dirt under our fingernails and a lot of work to do. The office is just a room in the house where we keep the ledgers and meet up to talk. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside and finish our conversations there. It's honest, hard work. We deal with the realities of farming life every day. Things like rain, pests, and market prices are what we talk about most. We aren't looking to change the world, just to make things a bit more stable for the families involved with Sanaswadi Agro. If you pass through Shirur, you’ll see plenty of farms like ours. We are just one part of that big local picture. There is usually someone at the house if you need to ask about a delivery or a payment. We keep things simple and try not to overcomplicate the business. It’s just us doing what we have always known how to do.
