Sanas Parlour

Sanas Parlour is located in Shaniwar Peth, which is one of the older, busier parts of Pune. We are inside Laxmi Apartment at 344, specifically in the D 8 section. It is very close to the Navin Marathi School, so we often hear the kids playing or the school bell ringing during the day. The parlour itself is quite small because it’s part of a residential building. We mostly serve the ladies who live in the apartments nearby or those who work in the local shops. It feels more like visiting a neighbor’s house than a business. We have the usual setup—a sink for hair washing, a couple of mirrors, and some shelves with shampoos and lotions. We don't do anything too fancy or complicated here. Most people come in for a simple haircut, some oiling, or a quick face clean-up. Because the space is tight, we can only take one or two people at a time. It’s quiet inside compared to the narrow streets of Shaniwar Peth outside. We have a small stool for people to sit on if they have to wait their turn. We don’t really do advertisements or anything like that. People just find us by word of mouth or by seeing the small sign we have out front. It’s a very local, family-style operation where everyone knows each other. We just try to provide a decent service without any unnecessary fuss or high prices for our neighbors.
