Samvichari Shetkari Producer Company Limited is from Madgyal Jath, in the Sangli district. We are based care of Ramchandra Govind Patil. The name "Samvichari" means we are people who think the same way, mostly about how to keep our farming going. Jath is a place where life can be quite simple but also hard. We don't have a lot of big industry here, so farming is everything. We started this company because we wanted to be more than just individual farmers struggling on our own. Now we have a group where we can share ideas and maybe sell our produce together. We are located right in the village. It is not a corporate office with air conditioning; it’s just a place where we sit on chairs and talk about our problems. We deal with the local crops of Sangli. We are just regular people, trying to figure out the best way to use our land. There are no big missions or slogans here. We just want to work hard and get a fair price for our crops. If you come to Madgyal, you’ll find us there, probably talking about the latest prices or the soil quality. It’s just us, a bunch of farmers trying to do something good for our community and ourselves. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything moving, but we do what we can with the little resources we have here.
