Most of the time we’re just sitting around a table or standing in the yard talking about prices and transport. It’s a local operation, run by people who actually live here and know the land. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but we get through it. Mirajgaon is a decent place to be based, even if it gets really hot in the summer. We started this because doing things individually was getting too hard for some of the smaller farms. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the work gets done and the produce gets where it needs to go. There’s always someone coming by with a question or a problem to solve. We try to keep things as straightforward as possible. No big words or complicated systems, just honest work. The office at H No 40 is usually open early. We have our coffee, look at what the day brings, and get to it. It’s not always easy, but it’s our way of making a living in this part of Karjat and helping out our neighbors.
