Sai West Paper & Scrap Center

We’ve been at Sampatrao Colony 2 in Hadapsar for quite a while now. Most people around here know us as Sai West Paper & Scrap Center. It’s mostly just us dealing with whatever scrap people bring in or what we go out to collect. We handle a lot of old newspapers, cardboard boxes, and various metal bits that aren't needed anymore. The shop isn't fancy, just a big space where we sort things into different piles before they go off to the bigger recycling yards. Some days it’s quiet, other days we’re buried in mountains of paper and iron. It’s dirty work, honestly, and our clothes usually show it by lunchtime. We open early because that's when the collectors start moving around. If you've got stuff cluttering up your yard or shop, we're usually the ones people call to get it moved. We weigh everything on the big scale out front and give a price based on what the market is doing that day. It's a simple business. We don't have a big office or anything, just the desk in the corner with the ledger. It’s been this way since we started. Most of the neighbors know the sound of the trucks pulling in. We just keep our heads down and keep the place moving, making sure the scrap doesn't pile up too high for too long. We even have a dog that hangs around the gate sometimes. It's just home for us.
