Sai Drycleaners

Sai Drycleaners is located right by the Vadgaon Budruk 9th Block bus stop. It is a bit of a long address because we are on the 46th Cross in Jayanagar 8th Block, specifically on Ambegaon Road. We are directly opposite the Rel. Prees, which helps people find us when they are carrying heavy bags of clothes. The shop is usually full of the smell of steam and fresh laundry. We have racks of clothes hanging everywhere, waiting to be picked up. It gets really busy in the mornings when people are heading to work and dropping off their shirts or suits at the bus stop. The sound of the buses stopping and starting is something we hear all day long. We have the big pressing machines in the back and the washing area where things get cleaned. Sometimes the iron gets a bit too hot or the steam fills up the whole room, but that is just how a dry cleaner’s shop is. We spend a lot of time checking for stains or making sure the creases are in the right place on the trousers. It is a lot of standing on your feet and moving things around. We use old-fashioned hangers and plastic covers to keep everything tidy. Even though the traffic outside is a mess, especially near the 46th Cross, we try to keep things organized inside so people can get their clothes back without waiting too long in the heat.
