Sahyadri Graphics Pvt Ltd

Sahyadri Graphics is tucked away on the second floor of the Konark Udyog Building. We are over in Kothrud, just off Karve Road and right across from SNDT College. It’s a busy part of town with students and businesses always moving around. We have three units here, numbers 14, 15, and 16, which give us enough room for our machines and desks. It’s not a corporate office with carpets and quiet rooms. It's more of a workspace where you'll hear the printers humming and see paper everywhere. We’ve been doing graphics and printing work for local people and businesses for quite some time now. Some of us have been working here since the start. We mostly deal with walk-ins from the college or nearby offices who need things designed or printed out. It can get a bit hectic when a few big jobs come in at once, but we manage. The building is an old industrial type, so it’s got that practical feel to it. You have to take the stairs or the lift up to the second floor to find us. We spend most of our day looking at screens or checking ink levels. It’s a steady job and we like being in this part of Kothrud. We don't have a big marketing team, we just do the work that comes in through the door. The elevators in the Konark Udyog Building are sometimes a bit slow, so we usually just walk up the two flights. We have been here in Kothrud for years and have seen the neighborhood change a lot. But inside our units, things stay pretty much the same with the smell of ink and the sound of the machines. We don't have a fancy reception area, just some samples of old work hanging on the walls. It's a real workspace for people who actually do the graphics work themselves.
