Sagar Saloon

We are located right in the heart of Pune City, 411002. It’s a small barber shop called Sagar Saloon. I’ve been here for quite some time now, just doing the same routine every day. I start by sweeping the floor and getting the towels ready. Most of my customers are regulars who live nearby. They don't ask for anything fancy, just a simple trim or a clean shave. The mirrors are a bit old but they do the job just fine. I like the sound of the scissors snip-snipping away. It’s a peaceful way to earn a living. Sometimes friends stop by just to chat for ten minutes even if they don't need a haircut. Pune is always moving fast outside, but inside the shop, things are a bit slower. I have a small TV in the corner that's usually on a sports channel. I don't use any of those fancy apps for appointments. People just walk in and wait their turn on the bench. If it's a hot day, the ceiling fan runs at full speed. I’ve lived in Pune all my life, so I know the streets well. Cutting hair is what I know how to do, so I just keep doing it here in the city. There is always someone new coming in, but it’s mostly the same group of guys. I keep my tools clean and ready. It's a simple life and I like it that way. I'm usually here until late evening.
