Sagar Mens Parlour

Sagar Mens Parlour is tucked away in Shop No 8 in Guruwar Peth. It’s a quiet enough spot, right near the Murlidhar Mandir. You can often hear the bells from the temple while we work. The shop is small but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. We have the usual barber chairs and a big mirror that’s been there since we opened. People from the neighborhood stop by for a haircut or a shave. It’s a local place, so we know most of the faces that walk through the door. We don't have any of those fancy modern machines or expensive products. We use scissors and razors the old way. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded on the weekends, and people just stand outside and chat while they wait. The floor always has some hair on it because we stay busy. We try to keep things clean, but it’s a working parlor. Pune 411042 is our home. We don’t do any big advertising. People just know we are here near the temple. It’s a simple life for us. We open early and stay until the last customer is done. There’s a specific smell of shaving cream and aftershave that never really leaves the room. It’s a comfortable place for the men around here to get cleaned up and talk for a bit before going home. It has been our routine for many years now.
