Safalsheti Agro Producer Company Limited is located over at Shri Sarjerao Galsiram Dhengle’s place in Manegaon. We are based in the Jalna area, which is home to a lot of hardworking people. Our group came together because we realized that as individual farmers, we weren't getting very far. There’s a lot of pressure these days on people who grow food. We use the space at Sarjerao’s to coordinate our efforts. It’s a basic setup, nothing fancy at all. We spend our mornings in the fields and then spend some time checking on the supplies. Every season brings its own set of problems, and we try to tackle them as a group. Sometimes we disagree on how to do things, but we usually work it out over a cup of tea. It’s about being practical and staying grounded. We don’t put out fancy brochures or anything like that. People in Manegaon know who we are. We just focus on getting the produce ready and making sure it gets to where it needs to go. The soil here is what we know best, and we try to treat it right. It’s a lot of physical labor and a bit of planning. We are just local farmers trying to make the system work for us for a change. It’s not always easy, but it’s the life we’ve got and we make the most of it.
