Edelvise Furniture

We have been here in Sadashiv Peth for a long time now. The shop is at No. 17 Sadashiv Peth Cross, right across from Shoe Park. It's usually busy around this lane. Mostly, we spend our days dealing with wood and fixing up tables or cupboards that people need for their homes. My father started this and now I handle the daily stuff. It's not a fancy place at all. You'll probably see some sawdust on the floor if you walk in during the afternoon. We work with local wood mostly. Sometimes the rain makes things slow because the wood takes longer to dry and that can be annoying. People come in asking for specific sizes for their kitchens or bedrooms. We just take the measurements and get to work. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but it keeps us going. Most of our tools are old but they still work fine for what we do. We don't have a big team, just a couple of guys who know how to handle a saw. If you are looking for the shop, just look for the cross lane near the shoe store. We keep the doors open most of the day. Sometimes we finish late if a delivery is due the next morning. It is just a regular furniture shop where we try to get the measurements right. Nothing more to it really. We just like making things that last.
