Shri Ram Furniture

If you are looking for us, we are at Shop No. 50 in Jijamata Market on Chikhali Road. We are pretty close to the Birdvalley Hotel in the Shahunagar area of Chinchwad. Shri Ram Furniture is a small workshop where we make all kinds of things out of wood. We have saws, hammers, and piles of timber taking up most of the space. It is a dusty job and our clothes are usually covered in sawdust by lunchtime. We make beds, cupboards, and chairs for the people living nearby. Chinchwad is a busy place and the market can get very crowded on the weekends. We have been working out of this shop for a long time now. We do not have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most of our furniture is just stacked up until someone comes to pick it up. We use traditional tools and we take our time to make sure things are sturdy enough for daily use. It is hard work and it keeps us tired but satisfied. Sometimes the wood is difficult or a design is tricky, but we figure it out as we go. We are just a local furniture shop trying to get by in the community in Chinchwad. That is who we are and what we do every day at the market. It is a living for us.
