You can find us over at 1170 Sadashiv Peth, right above Multi Sales on Tilak Road. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you get here, you’ll see what we are working on. The shop isn’t huge, but we pack it full of whatever fashions we’ve managed to get in that week. Tilak Road is always jammed with cars and bikes, so the constant noise is just part of the background for us now. We’ve had this spot for a long while. Mostly, it’s just us organizing the racks and helping people figure out what fits them. Sometimes the old ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that drives us crazy, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. We aren't trying to be some big corporate brand with a fancy office. We are just local people running a clothing shop in Pune. Usually, the afternoons are quiet when it’s hot outside, so we sit and talk about whatever is in the news. Then the pace picks up again in the evening when people are heading home from work and stop by. We try to keep things simple. There’s no need for complicated talk or sales pitches. If someone likes a shirt or a dress, they buy it. If not, they move on to the next shop. We spend a lot of time just checking the stock and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a decent living and we like the regular people who stop by to chat.
