S Star Mens Parlour

Our shop, S Star Mens Parlour, is located on Nda Road in the Karve Nagar area, specifically Hingne Budrukh. We’ve been cutting hair here for the guys in the neighborhood for quite some time now. It’s a simple setup with a few chairs and mirrors. We aren’t one of those high-end salons where you pay for the atmosphere. People come here because they want a decent haircut or a quick shave without any fuss. The radio is usually playing in the background, and there’s always someone talking about cricket or the local news. We see kids coming in for their first haircut and older men who have been coming to us since we opened. The Nda Road gets quite busy, and we get a lot of people stopping in while they are out running errands. It’s a small space, so it gets crowded on weekends, but we try to keep things moving. We don't have a website or a fancy booking system. You just walk in, wait your turn, and sit in the chair. It’s a basic service but we take pride in it. We know most of our regulars by name. It’s just a local barbershop where you can get cleaned up and have a bit of a chat before heading back out into Pune. Every morning we sweep the floor and sharpen the razors. The smell of aftershave and talcum powder is always in the air. We keep a stack of old newspapers and magazines for people to read while they wait. It’s a good community here in Hingne Budrukh.
