S S Motors is based in Thergaon, right on 5th Main Road. We’ve been in this spot for a good while now. It’s a decent location, though traffic on the main road can be a real headache in the evenings. We mostly deal with vehicle repairs and general maintenance. The shop isn't huge, so we have to be careful about how many cars we take in at once. There’s usually a bit of a mess with tires stacked up and spare parts in boxes, but we know where everything is. We’re just a small crew of mechanics who enjoy working with our hands. We don't have a fancy waiting room with coffee machines; usually, you just get a plastic stool and maybe a newspaper if someone left one behind. We talk to our customers like neighbors because most of them are. There’s no corporate script here. If a job is going to be expensive, we tell you straight. If it’s a quick fix, we do it and get you moving. We’ve had some long days when a difficult repair just won’t go right, but that’s the nature of the business. We take pride in the fact that people trust us with their vehicles. It’s a simple operation, really. We open up early, work until the sun goes down, and try to do a fair job for a fair price every time someone pulls into the yard for help.
