S. S. Impex

You can find us in Flat No. 6 of Deepshree Apartments. If you know the Kothrud area in Pune, you know how busy Paud Road gets. We are located just off to the left in Bhusari Colony. It is a residential building, so the office feels more like a home than a stiff place of work. This actually works for us because we don't really like the constant noise of the main road anyway. Most of our day is spent sitting at the desks. We have our computers and some files stacked up everywhere. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat or the delivery guy gets confused about which wing of the apartments we are in. Kothrud is a nice place to be based out of. There are plenty of small tea stalls nearby when we need a quick break. We started S. S. Impex without much fanfare. We just needed a space to handle the import and export paperwork properly. Being on a lower floor helps when we have to move stuff in and out, though usually it’s just documents and small samples. The sun hits the balcony in the afternoon, making it a bit warm, so we keep the curtains drawn most of the time. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist sitting at the door. If the bell rings, one of us just gets up to answer it. It is a simple setup for simple work. We keep our records in order and stay on top of the shipping schedules.
