We are located out in the Narhe area, specifically in the Saraswat Industrial Estate. Our unit is Gala No. 30/8-9 at Sr. No. 30/8-9. Being in an industrial zone means there is always the sound of trucks and machinery nearby. It gets pretty dusty around here with all the construction and the movement of goods, but that is just part of being in the import-export business. We spend most of our time looking at crates and dealing with a lot of paperwork. There is always something being loaded or unloaded at the gate. Our office is built right into the industrial unit so we can keep an eye on what is happening with the stock. It is definitely not a quiet desk job. We have to talk to drivers and suppliers all day to make sure the containers are where they need to be. Sometimes the customs forms get a bit annoying, but we just sit down and work through them. We have been at this location in Pune for a while now. The team here knows exactly what needs to happen every morning. We try to start early before the sun gets too hot over the sheds. Lunch is just a short break before we go back to checking the inventory. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks. We just want to make sure the trade keeps moving smoothly.
