S S Goel & Co

The office for S S Goel & Co is actually inside Bunglow No 32, which is tucked away between 6 Suyojana Soc in Lane No 5. Koregaon Park is a nice area with lots of trees, though the parking can be a real headache some days. We’ve been based here for a while, working out of the rooms in this old house. It feels more like a home than a regular office, which I think people prefer when they come to visit. We spend most of our time at the large wooden tables we have set up in the main hall. There’s usually a pile of folders sitting on the corner desk that never seems to get smaller. Lane 5 is fairly quiet compared to the main roads, but you still hear the odd rickshaw buzzing past. We don’t have a big fancy reception area or anything like that. People just knock on the heavy front door and come in. We’ve got the usual office stuff scattered around—printers that jam occasionally and plenty of pens that always seem to go missing. It’s a straightforward setup. We handle the tasks that come across our desks and try to stay on top of the deadlines. Being in Pune 411001 means we’re central enough for people to find us without too much trouble. It’s just us doing our thing every day in the bungalow.
