S. M. COATING INDUSTRIES

Our workshop, S. M. Coating Industries, is tucked away in the Chintamani Industrial Estate at S.No. 50/21/3. We are located in the Bhide Baug area, specifically behind Laxmi Lodge on Narhe Road. It can be a little tricky to find the first time if you aren't familiar with the industrial estate layout. The place stays busy with the sound of machinery and the smell of industrial coatings. We have several tanks and booths set up for the different processes we handle. It is an industrial setting, so things are functional rather than looking nice. There is always a layer of dust or some overspray somewhere, but that is just the reality of a coating plant. We spend our days hanging parts on racks and checking the finishes once they come out of the heat. Narhe Road has a lot of businesses like ours, but we have built our own little rhythm over the years. We do not have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. It is just us and a few workers who have been with us for years. We take in work from various sectors, and every day brings something different to the bench. Behind Laxmi Lodge, there is usually a truck or two waiting to be loaded. We just focus on getting the thickness right and making sure nothing peels off later. It is honest, hard work.
