S L Agro Foods Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out at Gat No. 310 in Kuruli. We are in the Khed taluka, which is part of the larger Pune district. Our location is basically a working site where we handle the agro foods side of things. It is not a place for suits and ties. Most days you will find us in our work clothes, dealing with whatever load has just arrived or been sent out. The area around Kuruli has changed a lot with all the new buildings, but we stay focused on the food and the farming. We have a lot of space at the Gat No. 310 site, which is necessary when you are dealing with agricultural products. Sometimes the logistics of moving stuff around Khed can be a bit of a headache, especially with the local traffic, but we have our routines. We are not a big corporate entity with a marketing department. We are just a group of people who know how food gets from the field to the market. We take care of the processing and the packing without making a big fuss about it. It is a lot of early mornings and late nights, depending on the harvest. We just want to make sure the food is handled right and the farmers get their due without too much trouble.
