Rushitulya Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in Akola, specifically in the Patur-N area. We work out of the home of Shri Dinkar C Avhale. It is a typical setup for a group like ours where we prioritize the work over having a fancy storefront. Most of the people involved in this company are local farmers from around the Akola district. We deal with the realities of farming in Maharashtra every single day. Some days are good, and some days we just have to grind through it. We set this up because we wanted to have more control over how our produce is handled and sold. It is about being practical. We do not have a big mission statement or anything. We just want to make sure the work we do in the fields translates into something sustainable for our families. The office is just a room with some files and a place to sit and have tea while we talk shop. We handle the registrations and the grain sales from there. People know where to find us if they need to talk about the next planting season. It is a very grounded way of living. We do not use any marketing tricks because our work speaks for itself in how the crops turn out. We are just local people trying to make a go of it in a tough industry. It takes time, but we keep at it.
