Rupalishiv Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is based in Dongaon Bk, right at Ganesh Sontakke’s place. It’s a small village and everyone knows everyone. We decided to come together as a farmer producer company because it’s harder to do things alone these days. We spend most of our mornings out in the fields and then meet up at the office in the afternoon. It’s not really a proper office, just a room with a fan and some registers. We talk about the rain, the prices of fertilizers, and how the crops are looking this season. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside and talk. It’s a practical way of working. We aren't experts in everything, but we know our land. Dongaon is a quiet place mostly. We try to help the smaller farmers get a better deal when it’s time to sell. It’s a lot of paperwork which we don't always like, but it’s necessary for the company. We don't have any fancy signs or a big building. Just the name on a board near the entrance. Most people just walk in if they have a question. We don't really have set hours, if we are there, we are open. It’s about sticking together in the village and making sure we can all make a living from the ground. It takes a lot of patience but we don't mind the wait.
