You can find us over at Sr No. 672/B in Budhwar Peth, at Shop 8 in the Mahalaxmi Complex. Our business is called Rukhminee Sugarcane Processors Private Limited. We spend our time dealing with the sugarcane that grows all around this region. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what keeps this community moving. We aren’t a giant factory; we’re just a local shop that processes the cane and makes sure it gets to where it’s supposed to go. People know us in Budhwar Peth as the ones who are always busy when the cane is being cut. We don’t have a lot of time for fancy talk or corporate nonsense. We just focus on the work that needs to be done. Some days the machines act up and some days the supply is short, but we just deal with it as it happens. It’s a lot of manual labor and things can get pretty sticky around the shop, but that’s just how it goes with sugarcane. We’ve lived here for a long time and know most of the farmers who bring their stuff to us. We try to be fair and do right by them because we know how hard they work. Our shop isn't much to look at, but it’s where we get things done. We’re just regular people earning a living and helping the local agriculture industry keep its gears turning.
