Royal Gold Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group is called Royal Gold Farmers Producer Company Limited and we are based out of the Kannad area. Specifically, we are at Gut No. 512 on the Vaiapur Road. This is near Devgaon in the Aurangabad district, zip code 431116. The office is really just at Anis Mustak Shaikh’s place. He helps keep everything organized for us. We started this because the local farmers needed a way to work together. It is a lot of work dealing with the daily stuff on the farm and then coming back to handle the business side of things. The road can be quite busy with trucks and tractors moving through Kannad. We don’t have any big corporate office with air conditioning. It is just a simple room where we sit and talk about the seeds and the harvest. Most of us have been farming in this Aurangabad region for a long time. We know the soil here and what it needs. Sometimes we meet early in the morning before it gets too hot outside. Being a producer company is just a fancy name for a group of neighbors trying to get better prices. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are by word of mouth. If you are driving down Vaiapur Road, you might see us. It’s a very practical operation and we just try to keep things moving forward for the families involved here. We aren't doing anything fancy, just farming.
