You can find us at 153 Uk Cmplx, right across from the Jogeshwari Mata Temple in Budhwar Peth. It is a crowded area and the lanes are narrow. During the festival days, the bells from the temple are constant and you can smell incense in the air even inside our shop. We handle a lot of service work here. The shelves are packed with spare parts in small cardboard boxes, and most of them have a layer of dust on them. We have a small counter at the front where people drop off their things. There isn't much room to walk around because of all the items waiting to be fixed. Our work involves a lot of small screws and wires. Sometimes I lose a tiny part on the floor and have to spend ten minutes looking for it with a torch. It is just me and two other guys working most days. We get our lunch from the local tiffin service and eat quickly in the corner. The lighting inside is a bit yellow and dim, but we are used to it. Budhwar Peth is always full of people, so there is no shortage of noise from the street outside. We usually keep the shutter half-down when we are doing some focused work so people don't just wander in to chat. It is a simple place where we just get things done. Nothing fancy. Just us working.
