Ronak Varieties

Ronak Varieties is our little shop over on Film City Road in Vadgoensheri. It’s not a very big place, but we manage to fit a lot of stuff inside. We carry everything from stationery to small household items. It gets pretty busy in the mornings when parents are dropping their kids off or heading to work. The shop is a bit cluttered, I’ll be honest. We have boxes stacked in the corners and the counter is always covered with loose change and small items. We don't have any corporate branding or anything like that, just a hand-painted sign out front. The road outside can be quite dusty, especially when the wind picks up, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass cases. It’s just a family-run thing. My son helps out after school sometimes. We enjoy talking to the regulars who stop by for their daily bits and pieces. We aren't trying to be the biggest store around, just a place that’s there when the people living nearby need something. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, but we just keep the doors open and use a flashlight if we have to. It’s just the way it works here. We’ve been in Vadgoensheri for a good while now and we don't plan on moving anywhere else. It’s home for us and the business is part of that.
