Our workshop and showroom is at No. 10/11, B-Block on River Road. We’ve been working with steel furniture here in Pune for a long time. The place is often filled with the smell of metal, sparks, and paint. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a practical space where you can see the cupboards, racks, and chairs we make. River Road can be quite busy, especially with all the commercial activity around B-Block. We spend our days welding, bending steel, and putting pieces together by hand. Pawar Steel Furniture Pune is a family-run kind of thing. We don't use corporate language because we aren't a corporation. We are just craftsmen who know how to work with steel and iron. You’ll see a lot of finished pieces waiting to be delivered and raw materials stacked in the corners. It’s a bit crowded sometimes, but we manage to find space for everything. People come to us when they need something sturdy that will last for years. We don't do much promotion or advertising. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign on River Road or heard about us from someone else. We focus on making things that are useful and strong. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we like what we do. The noise of the hammers and machines is just part of the background here at 10/11 B-Block.
