RIC Hospitality Equipments Pvt Ltd is tucked away in the Accasia building, room 203, over in Nyati Estate. This part of Mohammadwadi in Hadapsar is actually quite nice compared to some of the more crowded industrial spots. We handle equipment for hotels and restaurants. It’s the kind of stuff you don’t think about until you need a heavy-duty stove or a specific type of fridge. Our office is more for the planning and the phone calls. Most of the heavy lifting happens elsewhere, but this is where we coordinate everything. It’s usually just a few of us here. We spend a lot of time talking to chefs and owners who are opening new places. They have a lot of questions, and we try to give them straight answers without the sales pitch. Sometimes we don’t have exactly what they want, so we have to go looking for it. It’s not a perfect science. We’ve had days where the internet goes out or the elevator in the building is being repaired, so we have to walk up. It’s just life. We aren't a corporate giant with a million rules. We just know our equipment and we know how to get it delivered. People come to us because we’ve been around Hadapsar long enough to be trusted. We just keep doing what we do, one kitchen at a time, without making a big fuss about it and hoping the equipment lasts as long as the restaurants.
