Rhucha Farmers Producer Company Limited is located at H. No.18/592/1/12/3/5/8, which is right near Shivaji College in Chikhli. It’s a bit of a long address, but it’s where we do all our administrative stuff. We are mostly farmers from around the Chikhli taluka who decided that working as a group was better than trying to compete with each other all the time. Being near the college is handy because there’s always people moving around and it’s a central spot for us to gather. We aren't polished business people. We are the ones out in the sun most of the day. When we meet at the office, it's usually to talk about who needs what for the next planting season or to sort out some transport for the harvest. We try to keep things simple and honest. There’s a lot of pressure on farmers these days with prices going up for everything, so having this producer company gives us a bit of a leg up. We don't use any fancy marketing talk because we don't need to. Everyone in this part of Chikhli knows who we are. We’re just trying to make sure our families can keep living off the land like they always have. It’s a lot of paperwork and meetings, which can be boring, but it’s necessary to keep the farm business going properly in this day and age.
