Reester Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are located in Borgaon, which is in the Walwa taluka of Sangli. The office is at Milkat No 448, and we use Nilesh Kashinath Shinde’s place as our main spot. Reester Farmers Producer Company Limited is just a group of us from the village. Sangli is a big area for farming, so there is always something to do. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment in the office. It’s just a few chairs, a table, and a lot of documents. Most of our work happens outside anyway. We are always running around between the different farms in Borgaon. We help each other out with seeds and fertilizers and finding buyers. It’s a community thing more than a corporate thing. We don't have a secretary or anyone like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. Sometimes the cows outside make more noise than we do. We like it that way. It’s quiet and honest work. We didn't start this to get rich. We just wanted to have more control over how we sell our stuff. Nilesh keeps an eye on the books and the rest of us handle the field side of things. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes, especially when the harvest is all coming in at once. But we’ve been doing this for a while now and we know the rhythm of the seasons around here. We just try to keep things moving and help our local farmers get through the year.
