RATNADEEP Castings Pune

We are based out in Kasurdi Khedshivapur, which is a bit of a drive from the main Pune city. Our place is at Gat No.6B, on Plot No.3. It’s much quieter out here than in the city center, which we actually like. The air is a bit clearer, though the factory itself can get quite hot when the furnaces are running. We do castings here, so there is a lot of sand and metal bits around. The shop floor is the heart of the place. It’s a big open space where all the heavy lifting and pouring happens. We started this place because we wanted a spot with enough room to expand without being cramped. The office is just a small cabin on the side of the main shed. It’s got a couple of chairs, a fan, and a lot of ledgers piled up. Most of the time, the owners are out on the floor with the workers anyway. We don’t really believe in sitting behind closed doors much. Lunchtime is usually everyone sitting together under the trees if it’s not too hot outside. We’ve got some regular trucks that come in to pick up the finished parts every afternoon. The road to get here is okay, but it gets a bit bumpy and muddy after the rain. It’s a simple life out here, focused on getting the molds right and the metal poured. We’ve been at this location for years, and most of our neighbors are also in manufacturing.
