You can find Essel International right in the Kannamangala Arcade. We actually have a few shops there, specifically numbers 1, 2, 9, and 10. Rasta Peth is always a bit crowded, so parking can be a real headache if you arrive at the wrong time. We’ve been at No. 620 for quite some time now. The arcade is old but it works for what we do. Inside the shop, there are boxes stacked up and the phone rings more than I’d like. It’s a bit of a maze with the different shop numbers, but we manage. My family helps out with the paperwork sometimes. We deal with international stuff, so there is always some logistics problem to solve. The morning tea break is usually when we get a chance to sit down and actually talk. Customers walk in and out all day asking for various things. Some days are slow, others are a complete mess of orders. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name on the door. Rasta Peth has changed a lot over the years, but we’re still right here in the same spot. It’s a busy life, and the arcade gets quite loud in the evenings when everyone is closing up. We just keep things moving one day at a time without much fuss. If you see us there, just walk in, we don't really use appointments or anything like that. It's just easier that way for everyone involved.
