Rashtrasaint Dr. Shivling Shivacharyamaharaj Agro Producer Company Limited

We have our little office set up in Vivekanand Nagar in Parli, which is part of the Bid district. The name of the company is a bit long, named after Rashtrasaint Dr. Shivling Shivacharyamaharaj, but day to day we just focus on the agricultural work. Chetan Arvind Soundale is the person who looks after the records at his place. Parli is a place where farming is the main thing everyone does, so we decided to pool our efforts. It’s not like those big companies in the cities. We don’t have fancy chairs or a front desk. We just gather around and talk about what the market is doing and how our crops are coming along. Sometimes we worry about the water supply since it gets quite dry in this part of Bid. We try to stay as practical as possible. If there's a problem with the harvest, we all talk about it and see if there's a way to fix it for next time. We spend most of our time out in the sun, so when we meet at Chetan's, it’s a bit of a break. We don't use any marketing speak because we're just talking to our neighbors and other farmers. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping track of the seasons. We aren't doing this to get famous, just to keep the farms running and our families fed. It is just how life goes for us.
