We are situated at S No 412 in the Sterling Center, which is on the 4th floor. The building is right on Mahatma Gandhi Road, or MG Road as everyone calls it, in the Camp area. This is a very lively part of town with a lot of history and plenty of shops. Being on the 4th floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise of the street down below. We deal with computer peripherals, which basically means all the extra bits and pieces that make a computer system work. The office is mostly shelves and boxes of stock because we move a lot of products. It’s a functional space designed for distribution and taking orders. It isn't the kind of office where you sit on fancy sofas. We have benches and desks and a lot of packing tape. The staff here knows the inventory inside out, so we can usually find what someone needs pretty quickly. Camp is a good location for us because it’s easy for people to get to, though finding a parking spot on MG Road is almost impossible some days. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the orders out on time. There’s no big corporate philosophy here, we just want to make sure the boxes go to the right place and the invoices are correct. It’s a busy life but it’s what we do.
